Graded card case FAQ
Which case fits my slab?
Graded Armor fits standard PSA holders. Metal Armor and Armor Stands come in a PSA size and a BGS size. All fits are for standard-thickness (35pt) holders; thick holders for patch, relic and memorabilia cards are not supported.
Does the case hide the label or the card?
No. Graded Armor has clear polycarbonate panels front and back; Metal Armor has tempered-glass panels front and back. The label, cert number and card back stay fully visible.
How does Metal Armor close?
The two aluminum halves align on built-in magnets and snap shut. Pull the halves apart to open. No tools, latches or screws.
Will the case scratch the slab?
Graded Armor is soft TPU. Metal Armor holds the slab against glass with the frame taking the load; keep the inside free of grit and it will not mark the holder.
Can I stack or ship slabs in the cases?
Yes. Both cases wrap every edge and corner, which is exactly what you want in a box, a binder or the mail.
What does the Armor Stand hold?
A slab wearing Graded Armor or Metal Armor, upright at a slight lean. It is cut for the armored slab, not a bare holder. Buy the PSA stand for a PSA slab (Graded Armor or Metal Armor) and the BGS stand for a BGS slab wearing Metal Armor (BGS).

What size is a PSA slab?
3.16 × 5.32 × 0.27 in (about 80 × 135 × 7 mm), per PSA. BGS standard holders are shorter (about 5.2 in / 131 mm), slightly wider (about 3.3 in / 84 mm) and thicker (about 0.31-0.33 in), which is why BGS gets its own case.
What does 35pt mean?
1 pt = 0.001 in, so 35pt = 0.035 in (about 0.9 mm). “Standard” or “35pt” means the regular-depth holder for ordinary cards; PSA’s own cut-off for its standard holder is 40pt. Thick holders for patch and relic cards are not supported.
